Not only was the staff and food exceptional, but I have developed everlasting friendships with coworkers from an unexpected team building experience. I can't rave enough about how our guide lead us through a gutwrenching thrillseeking adventure while having no idea what we all had signed up for. We hadn't even stepped foot on ground before planning next years trip! We may even convince our Company to sponsor us next year with all the skills we've learned from you. Class VI Mountain River Lifetime Fans

I’ve seen a lot of other rafters on the river, but with out a doubt, I feel safest with Class VI and trust them to help make our trip enjoyable and as danger free as possible.
Hi guys!
I was probably one of your earliest river rafters! I remember when Class VI was just a trailer in a parking lot! None of the other amenities existed. The rafts were the kind where the guide sat in the center and steered with two oars! I returned to find a new bathroom and new self-bailing rafts. I can remember how wonderful the showers felt after a run in the fall Gauley! Then I came back to Smokey’s, then to larger facilities and now cabins. I’ve brought several groups from Missouri to see and experience the white water of West Virginia and I have NEVER been disappointed. This time was no difference. I’ve seen a lot of other rafters on the river, but with out a doubt, I feel safest with Class VI and trust them to help make our trip enjoyable and as danger free as possible. Your staff are real pro’s and I appreciate every one of them.

This time I brought my best friend and her little girl (12) and they were thrilled beyond belief. The little girl can’t wait to get to school and show her friends and teachers what she accomplished this summer. She wants to try the fall Gauley when she gets old enough. I look forward to bringing her back.

Thanks again to everyone at Class VI, they make the day extremely fun, pleasant and safe! I will continue to recommend Class VI to anyone I can and I hope I bring you business for many years to come!

Vacation Perfection

Our 2 days and nights at Class VI and Cabins on the Gorge were the best vacation we ever had, and we've had quite a few!
My husband and I were just saying again last night (a week after our Class VI vacation) that our 2 days and nights at Class VI and Cabins on the Gorge were the best vacation we ever had, and we’ve had quite a few!  We treated our whole family to the cabins and the rafting and everyone loved it!  Our 8 grandchildren, 4 of whom were able to raft, will never forget it, nor will the adults!  We found your facilities to be excellent and were very impressed with all the staff and felt we were in very capable hands with our guides.  In the words of our 6 year old grandson, ‘This is just perfect!’  Thanks!

Great Equipment

I felt very safe using all of your well-maintained equipment.
Everything was very easy to use, from the rock climbing/rappelling ropes and helmets to that rafts, paddles and life jackets. I felt very safe using all of your well-maintained equipment.

Best Vacation Experience Ever

I can honestly say it is the best vacation experience that I have had and I can't wait to come back.
I have to say I was apprehensive when my Dad asked me to join him for a whitewater rafting trip. I have never felt very comfortable around water, or frankly, anything that I am not able to control. When we arrived, I was immediately impressed by the fact that we were greeted outside of the lodge by employees who were sincere, friendly, and reassuring. I am a trauma nurse, so I tend to see all the horrible things that can go wrong, especially for thrill seekers. I was very pleased to see that the staff were obviously well-trained, safety oriented, and knowledgeable. It was also apparent that each guide truly has a love for their job and a respect for the river. After we went through the first set of rapids, I was no longer fearful, and I had the time of my life. I can honestly say it is the best vacation experience that I have had and I can't wait to come back. I am so glad that my first rafting adventure was with Rivermen. My friends thought I was crazy for trying this out and I told them before I left that the only things we regret in life are the things that we never try. Thanks for helping me prove my point.
